I just love it! Children are my favorite people and the future of the world. I like my job because I am able to give all my love and care to these children, and give them a path of knowledge into the world.

Rochelle Hazan

Infant Room Teacher
Child Development Associate
Teaching since 2001 • With TKAE since 2014

I am dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child. I make it my goal to make sure each child receives the best care and love that they deserve. I believe that the most important skills to have when working with infants and toddlers are patience, flexibility, love and to watch them grow and flourish.

I love teaching infants and toddlers. It is so rewarding to see them change and grow right in front of your eyes. I know that whether they remember me or not, I am part of who they have become. There is so much I get from being a pre-school teacher. It is one of the most rewarding experiences I have encountered. I love going to work every day.

Diana Kaplun

Infant Room and Toddler Teacher
Child Care 50 Hours Certification
Teaching and with TKAE since 2015

Working with children requires a combination of certain intangible traits. While experience comes with time and hard work, I have the traits to perform by job with commitment and satisfaction to the fullest.

Working with the infants and toddlers makes me become a well-informed person since I constantly find myself looking for answers on books and on the Internet. I really admire children's endless energy, honesty, creativity and curiosity.

Linda Peterman

Infant Room Teacher
Child Development Associate

Linda has been part of the TKAE family since 1995. In the past she has worked with two and three years old, though she says her passion is working with the babies. She is married to her wonderful husband Allan, has two amazing sons and the love of her life, her grandson Dylan.

Working with the infants not only gives her pleasure but a chance to experience their development knowing that she is a part of their lives.

It give me pleasure to be part a part of their development and to play an important role in their every day experiences. I love the people I work with and observing the growth of the children.

Mary Zarate

Infant Room Teacher
Teaching since 1996 • With TKAE since 2007

Mary has been working in the infant program at TKAE since 2007. Prior to this, she had 20 years experience working at another infant program in North Miami Beach. Mary has one daughter and three beautiful grandchildren. Mary’s goal is to provide her babies with tons of love and care and make sure that they are safe and happy.

I like teaching children because I see how they grow and develop day to day. I like my job because it is rewarding to see the babies that have graduated from my room still run to hug me when I see them.
