Heirloom Shabbat
Friday, January 15th
Each of our lives are stories. On heirloom Shabbat,
we will create a community of stories by sharing an actual physical object
significant in our lives and/or the lives of our families.
Just as Torah is a collection of stories from a long time ago,
so too our own family pieces will become a collection of stories.
If you can’t make it to the service please email a picture
of your heirloom including a description by January 13.
If you’d like to share a Jewish heirloom
please contact the clergy or call the front office
to participate 954 472-1988.

TEMPLE KOL AMI EMANU-EL MEMBERSHIP
Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El, a Reform synagogue in Plantation, Florida, provides our members with the spiritual, affirmational, educational and social experiences designed around our shared Jewish heritage.
We believe in a shared responsibility of healing, transforming, and repairing our world (tikkun olam) through acts of loving kindness (gemilut chasadim), concern for the well being of all people, and our devotion to the pluralistic religious values of liberal Judaism.
We are committed to the State of Israel and her people, as well as Jewish communities and progressive Jewish values wherever they may be found. We celebrate our identity as a multi-generational family oriented congregation that embraces diversity, welcomes the stranger, and seeks to provide a warm and nurturing environment to all who choose to call us home.
