Shabbat at TKAE

Pause. Worship. Reflect.

Join us for a reflective journey into the power of Shabbat

Every seventh day we stop and see the world as it is both the beauty and what is broken.  Shabbat is our sacred time.  It is where we glimpse a piece of heaven and envision what is possible.  We reach out and see our world as it ought to be, a vision of heaven on earth.

At Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El, Shabbat is the central organizing principle of our community. It is the heartbeat of the Jewish week and forms the rhythm of our lives. Shabbat brings us together as a community and draws us near to what is holy.  Shabbat reminds us of our place in this world and that we are surrounded by miracles and blessings.

We seek to create a meaningful and engaging worship as a community.  Our services are a unique blend of tradition, innovation and modern spirituality.  We are contemplative and ecstatic.  Our time in this sacred space is profound and joyous.  Our hearts face to the east, but the center of our spiritual home is found in the present.

Each week on Shabbat we join together as a community to refresh our bodies, minds and souls.

Join us in our celebration of Shabbat – our day of joy, rest, and peace.
