The Bnot Mitzvah Program
The Bnot Mitzvah Program is designed as an alternative program for girls entering 6th grade who wish to learn and celebrate their Bnot Mitzvah together.
Throughout this journey, students will explore the role of women in Judaism and discover the beauty of our rituals and traditions through a series of weekly sessions. At the culmination of this program, participants will celebrate their Bnot Mitzvah as a group at TKAE. The ultimate goal is to empower these young girls to become the Jewish women of tomorrow.
The ceremony will be a testament to togetherness, friendship, and our love for Judaism. We will share stories from our journey while learning together. We will recite meaningful poems and quotes from inspirational Jewish sources, which we have studied with the guidance of our rabbi. Additionally, under the leadership of our cantor, we will joyously sing a selection of songs.
