Bearing Witness: A Conversation with ZAKA’s Simcha Greiniman

On October 7, while celebrating Simchat Torah with his family, Simcha Greiniman, Deputy Commander of ZAKA Modi’in Ilit, was called to one of the most harrowing missions of his 30+ years of service.

For 18 weeks, Simcha and his team went from kibbutz to kibbutz, recovering the bodies of victims and survivors of terror. He oversaw the collection of blood, bones and tissue near Gaza, ensuring dignity for the dead and closure for their families. Join us to hear Simcha’s powerful testimony; testimony that was presented to the UN, Congress and Parliament bearing witness of that day and the sacred mission of ZAKA, Israel’s internationally recognized humanitarian response team.

At the BCS Kol Ami Emanu-El Campus.
