Nadia Elishiv is the new administrative assistant at Broward Central Synagogue. With a strong background in organizational support and a deep appreciation for community, Nadia brings both professionalism and warmth to her role. She will support the day-to-day operations of our synagogue office, assisting members with their needs and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Stephanie Wurtenberger is an exceptional professional who has devoted over two decades of service to Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El. She began her journey in 2003 as the Early Childhood Office Manager and has since progressed to become the synagogue's Office Manager and now the synagogue's Bookkeeper. Originally from Philadelphia, Stephanie pursued her education at the University of Maryland, where she met her husband Michael. In 1995, they relocated to Florida and Stephanie has since gracefully balanced her roles as a dedicated wife, loving mother to three children and a highly respected synagogue leader. Meet Sandra Frankel, an integral member of our congregation for the past two decades. As the accounting manager, she efficiently oversees financial matters, contributing to the smooth functioning of the synagogue. Rabbi Jeffrey Segelman, a native of Boston, holds a B.A. from Boston University and a B.H.L. from Boston Hebrew College. He earned his M.A. and rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Rabbi Segelman is the Rabbi Emeritus of the Westchester Jewish Center, where he served for 40 wonderful years. He currently serves on the faculty and is the Director of Field Placement at the Academy for Jewish Religion, a pluralistic seminary ordainingrabbis and cantors. Rabbi Segelman resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and has been teaching at IJKL since 2020.
